The 1st International Symposium was devoted to innovative European achievements in the field of safety and reliability of Tunnels.
Since then, major steps forward have been made, especially within the EU-funded projects UPTUN and SafeT. In addition, eight European projects devoted to tunnel safety joined forces regarding their afterlife in the ITA Committee on Operational Safety of Underground Facilitites (ITA COSUF).
To celebrate the inauguration of ITA COSUF and to present and discuss the new and major achievements in establishing safer and more reliable tunnels, the organising committee is honoured to invite you to the 2nd International Symposium Safe & Reliable Tunnels, 30-31 May, Lausanne, Switzerland.
