May 10, 2006
For 50 years, Georg Fischer Piping Systems has been a leading authority in corrosion-free piping systems for the chemical process industry and time and again has launched useful and innovative products and services for plastic piping system construction on the market.
The planning fundamentals for industrial piping systems have also been completely revised and updated with the latest technical and practical findings. This standard work put out by Georg Fischer for planners and plant operators shall be newly released to coincide with Achema; the manual will be available on CD-ROM and as Internet download. Under the motto Corrosion Attack the GF Piping Systems stand will feature an hourly show with novelties and news on the subject of corrosion-free piping systems. GF Piping Systems at ACHEMA 2006: Hall 8, Stand M16-N19.
ACHEMA 2006 - World Forum for the Process Industries
28. International Exhibition-Congress on Chemical Engineering, Environmental Protection and Biotechnology.
ACHEMA is the leading international event for the entire material conversion industry, and this year’s show will once again showcase a huge range of equipment, technologies and know-how for the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food industries and other related sectors. No other event offers such a comprehensive display of total problem solutions covering all aspects of process technology combined with the synergy effects which result from interaction between the different exhibitor groups.
As usual, the largest exhibitor groups will be pumps, compressors, valves and fittings (939 exhibitors) followed by laboratory and analytical equipment (665), thermal processes (432), mechanical processes (382), pharmaceutical, packaging and storage (335), instrumentation, control and automation (333) and engineering (278).
The special show "Service Providers for the Process Industries" accounts for the largest increase in exhibitor numbers and floor space. This reflects the new strategic direction in an industry which is making greater use of 2 / 3 holistic solutions and integration of external service providers into mainstream company operations.
