Dynamic and exciting tunnelling website launched
May 30, 2006
London, 30th May 2006 - tunnellingforum.com, a website launched at the Underground Singapore 2005 conference for the start of 2006, represents one the most dynamic and ambitious tunnelling sites available to date on the internet. The free-access site was developed by specialists in the tunnelling industry from both Singapore and the United Kingdom.
The Forum section offers a platform for the dissemination of technical information and discussion about tunnelling in general. In this section, engineers and other tunnelling professionals can register online for a free pass to enter the forum and a free listing that is in effect an online business card.
This section is broken down into key tunnelling subject areas. To kick-start the forum each subject area is observed by a principle figure renowned in the industry for the subject area they contribute to on the site. We positively encourage professionals to actively participate in the forums and engage fellow professionals on subjects related to the tunnelling sector.
The site features a News and Regulations section where tunnellers can be informed about tunnelling events around the world as they happen and updates on regulations affecting the industry.
The Professional Development section is broken down into areas covering international events, seminars, courses and job vacancies along with reviews on useful tunnelling books and software. This section provides information to help support individuals progress in the tunnelling industry through learning and the development of their careers.
The Company Listing is the commercial part of the site where companies and organisations pay to include in-depth technical information about their products, services and projects in text or video format. The site users have free access to the listing to help them find the right company for their needs.
