HOBAS Presents its Extended Industrial Product Range at the IFAT Entsorga 2010 in Munich
Sep 09, 2010
„We cannot afford to stand still; we want to raise the bar in the market“, is what Doris Strohmaier, managing director of the GRP pipe producer HOBAS, likes to say and sure enough, the group’s continual efforts and investments in research and development pay off, as visitors of the IFAT Entsorga 2010 in Munich will be able to see for themselves.
Trenchless technologies have been applied increasingly over the past few years. With their outstanding properties HOBAS Jacking Pipe Systems haven proven their worth for many years and have widely become the favored material in this segment. The unique integrated flush FWC pressure couplings allow pressure pipeline applications without additional measures. HOBAS clients trust in HOBAS Products also when it comes to large diameters; as seen in Warsaw where several kilometers of CC-GRP diameter (De) 3000 mm were jacked for a sewer main. Extra large diameter pipes as well as pressure pipes used in pipe jacking will be displayed for people to see and feel their impressive size and quality.
Although pipe rehabilitation has been on the rise for non-accessible areas, the market offered only few solutions for relining large profiles. HOBAS glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) have meanwhile filled this market niche with increasingly large prefabricated circular and non-circular profiles that grant old structures a full lifetime with all benefits inherent in HOBAS Products. One of these impressive profiles, 3190 mm in width and 2584 mm in height will be displayed at the IFAT Entsorga in Munich.
Since continually improving measures for environmental protection is an integral part of the corporate social responsibility at HOBAS, the group’s certified environmental management system is a further topic visitors will be able to inform themselves about. Whatever visitors would like to know about the leading supplier of high performance GRP Pipe Systems, competent HOBAS Experts are looking forward to be fire questioned at the HOBAS Stand 219/318 in hall B6.
