Pipe Systems Safeguarding Future Generations at the IFAT
Apr 09, 2018
At the IFAT, egeplast will present pipe systems safeguarding future generations both for new installation projects and for civil engineering rehabilitation projects -including systems with leakage monitoring.
Visit the egeplast booth for a hands-on experience of stunning product innovations related to supply and sewage pipes as well as for power and broadband supply.
The main focus will be on application recommendations for modern trenchless installation methods. Find out which pipe system provides the level of safety which will ensure safe operation of the pipes in question across a service life of 100 years or more.
Our primary focus will be on the 3L Leak Control System, a pipe system featuring permanent or intermittent monitoring and designed to report any damages that might occur as well as to indicate the location of the damage even on a mains-independent basis. This type of monitored pipe system provides state-of-the-art remote online inspection and control via the Internet, thus enabling operators to take action quickly if required.
It provides 100-percent leakage monitoring for soil and water protection. Even in the event of very minor damages, the monitoring unit connected to the pipe will trigger an alarm. Reports can be made either directly to the control centre or to a smartphone or can be viewed online.
As a systems provider, egeplast provides the matching egeFit® fittings for all kinds of pipe systems and is also in a position to supply special designs. Our services also include designing and manufacturing customised fittings and even entire assemblies according to individual customers' specifications. At the trade fair, we will also introduce our new integrated welded socket solution egeFuse® 2.0.
egeplast is a highly innovative manufacturer of plastic pipe systems which has set standards for decades. Customers in more than 40 countries have decided to rely on consulting solutions and quality products offered by egeplast around transporting water, gases and data.
