The leading international trade fairs wire and Tube will be held concurrently again from 24 to 28 April 2006 in Düsseldorf.

In April 2006, the leading international trade fairs wire, International Trade Fair for Wire and Cable, and Tube, International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, will, for the tenth time, jointly present new machines, products and systems from their respective industries at the exhibition grounds in Düsseldorf. The exhibition buildings on the River Rhine will be the centre of attention for these industries.
In 2004, the two trade fairs welcomed a total of 1,700 exhibitors from 47 countries and occupied an exhibition area of 75,300 m2. More than 61,000 visitors from five continents gathered information on new technologies for the production and processing of wire, cable and tube & pipe. 2004 thus set a new attendance record for the two trade fairs in Düsseldorf!
At wire 2006, the latest machines for the production and processing of wire, cable and fibre optics will be presented in halls 9 to 12 and hall 15. In addition, wire is the leading international trade fair for machines and systems for spring manufacturing and fastener products. These products are presented in halls 16 and 17.
Tube will highlight the high-tech world of tube and pipe from all perspectives. As the world’s largest trade fair of its kind, it presents advanced technologies for tube production and processing as well as a comprehensive variety of the latest products in halls 3 to 5, 7 and 7 a.
Industry Partners of wire are the International Wire and Cable Exhibitors Association (IWCEA) and the International Wire & Machinery Association (IWMA). In addition, the event is supported by the Italian association ACIMAF (Associazione Costruttori Italiani Macchine per Filo) and the US association, Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association (WCISA).
