UNITRACC at IFAT 2008
Feb 28, 2008
Web-based information-, teaching and working platform for the field of sewer and pipeline construction to exhibit at IFAT 2008
At the stand of the Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stein & Partner group of companies (Hall B1, Stand 136), which also includes UNITRACC's operating company Knowledge Factory, interested visitors get the opportunity of exploring the underground in a virtual way and of experiencing the unique and broad range of the platform live and on the spot.
UNITRACC offers its users a "3-in-1" solution, because technical information from the field of pipeline construction and maintenance is provided custom-made for specific target groups and specific problems. Thus, for example, the area "Information", comprises on-site documentations, instructions and technical books for engineers, practitioners and students, and the area "Learning" further education with courses, presentations, scripts and exercises. The area "Learning" simplifies the daily work of engineers through web-application for calculation and planning.
With its e-learning solutions UNITRACC supports educational institutions, local authorities and businesses in utilizing new technical possibilities and thus in decisively improving their quality in education, research and administration. For the subjects of construction, maintenance, operation and rehabilitation of underground infrastructures, UNITRACC offers all people, who are working in these fields, information and qualification as well as engineering services. Quality, functionality and extent of the material and services that are provided on-line give UNITRACC an international leadership position within the entire industrial segment.
"As neither the technical knowledge provided through UNITRACC is imparted by universities nor other educational institutions in a sufficient way, UNITRACC represents the only access for decision-makers, engineers and technicians to information that enable them to responsibly make decisions about investments in this field," says Dipl.-Ing. Robert Stein, Knowledge Factory CEO about the web platform.
At the Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stein & Partner stand, visitors in addition get the chance to learn about other products and services by the subsidiary S & P Consult GmbH. Here, the on-line monitoring and simulation program CoJack for microtunnelling and pipe jacking, prediction-based asset management (STATUS) and prediction-supported strategy analyses for maintenance and investment concepts form the focus.
CEO Dipl.-Ing. Robert Stein and authorized representative Dipl.-Ing. Albert Hille are looking forward to meeting you in Hall B1, Stand 136.
